Great story, but so unfair! We have "Son of Solo" and now "My Deadly Darling Daughter".
You didn't mention whether mom was Angelique (that could have been "Ms. Thrush's Wild Ride") or an unknown Thrushie! Is there a prior story that I've missed?
Oh, if Miss Diketon had lived! Wouldn't that have made an interesting story?
