I've never seen the Invisible Man series, so my only reference point for Dan's journey is the original book and a black-and-white movie I recall seeing ages ago.
Nevertheless, I found your story to be believable as a crossover, well-written and terribly, terribly sad. Such a cruel twist of fate for Illya and Napoleon, after all their years of service. Certainly they deserved better than such a separation, but your story does justice to the heartbreaking realities of their reunion. Thanks for a very interesting POV.
